From Undergraduate to Confident Administrative Virtual Assistant

When Purity Chiamaka Eze first encountered Anne Ruth Marie, she was an undergraduate at Lagos State University of Education with a strong desire to develop digital skills but little clarity on where to begin. What drew her to the program was the promise of a structured path to becoming a Virtual Assistant. Alongside the bootcamp, she also purchased The Beginner’s Guide to Virtual Assistance by the founder, Mrs. Banke, and studied both simultaneously.

This combination of knowledge became a turning point. Before even completing the course and book, two major breakthroughs happened: Purity discovered her niche in Social Media Management and Customer Service Support and she became motivated to boldly brand herself. Instead of hiding her abilities, she learned to show up authentically, a mindset shift that positioned her to attract the right clients.

Beyond these breakthroughs, Purity gained a wealth of practical takeaways: using effective prompts with ChatGPT, adopting a CEO’s mindset, and learning how to brand with the right colors and fonts. These lessons have helped her refine her skills, build a professional brand, and confidently take steps towards building her VA career.

Today, Purity is not only clear about her niche and target audience, but she is also actively building her brand and showing up in ways that align with her vision. Her journey shows that with the right guidance, even a student can lay the foundation for a thriving VA career.
